Parks & Rec 2018.5 Release Notes

When the user is logged into the portal, shopping cart items are saved in the database instead of the browser, allowing the back office to reference the items in the shopping cart if the user has an issue with payment, etc.

Since the multi-family discount amount may be unknown if more than one step rate exists, the Available Discounts pop-up has been upgraded to include the step rate information. For details, see the Parks & Rec What's New in 2018.5 publication.

If a registration has not already been canceled or paid, invoice items may be canceled as line items. For details, see the Parks & Rec What's New in 2018.5 publication.

Past transactions were being updated after a refund, partial payment, full payment, etc. If a transaction is refunded, a new receipt is created. The original receipt displays "Completed" for Partially Paid and Paid in Full and "Refunded" for Partial Refunded and Refunded. On the Citizen Portal, an Invoice Number column has been added to the table on the Transaction History page. An Invoice Status column has been added to the table on the Invoice History page. Classes no longer are limited to a fixed schedule based on Monday through Sunday. To provide flexibility, an option for a variable schedule has been added. The new flexibility allows multiple classes in one day, no classes on designated days, different times for certain days and different days for certain weeks. The standard disclaimer text in the portal has been updated as follows: "By checking this box, I certify that I have read, understood and agree to the terms of the important Release, Disclaimer, and Hold Harmless Agreement shown here."

An email confirmation message to unregister from a class has been added to the wait list functionality. The confirm option shows name, date(s) and time. For details, see the Parks & Rec What's New in 2018.5 publication.

Customers using Incode Version 9 in Collection Export Integration Settings no longer will include unexported voided collections. If a collection has been exported, attempting a void will notify the user they must adjust their external financial system manually. For details, see the Parks & Rec What's New in 2018.5

All dependents added in the Relationships grid now may be edited. The Name picker now filters contacts while the user types in the field. For details, see the Parks & Rec What's New in 2018.5 publication.

On the Discount Details page, the Description field has been replaced with a resizable text box to allow room for a sentence. For details, see the Parks & Rec What's New in 2018.5 publication.

The Membership Sign In process has been redesigned to let you select the location you are working from, track location sign-in history, view usage-based memberships and deduct usages, view membership privileges and locations and print and link membership cards manually or with a scanner. As part of the Memberships redesign, the Class, Program and Rental selections have been removed from the Access Type drop-down on the Edit Membership Privilege page.

For customers using BridgePay as a payment gateway, a Service Fee Support rich text editor field has been added to the Payment Method Details page. Text entered in the field will display when in transaction receipts. For details, see the Parks & Rec What's New in 2018.5 publication.

Flat fees may be added to a fee schedule. For details, see the Parks & Rec What's New in 2018.5 publication.

A cart fee setup may be administered from the back office. A percentage or flat cart fee may be assigned to portal or back office transactions. For details, see the Parks & Rec What's New in 2018.5 publication.

The Invoice button has been renamed Pay Later in the back office and the citizen portal. For details, see the Parks & Rec What's New in 2018.5 publication.

The Rental Registration Create process has been redesigned to make it easy for you to view and select available locations and their associated rental facilities before scheduling and booking the rentals. For details, see the Parks & Rec What's New in 2018.5 publication.

The event date has been added to the Rental Item Details Report and the Rental Revenue Report. For details, see the Parks & Rec What's New in 2018.5 publication.

A user in the back office now may have the same email address as a contact in the system. For details, see the Parks & Rec What's New in 2018.5 publication.

Dependency Injection Support has been added.

If your system is set up to integrate with Cashiering, you may now push Membership registrations to Cashiering for payment processing.

The process of pushing transactions from Parks & Rec to Cashiering has been updated to display in a cleaner, easier-to-read format. For details, see the Parks & Rec What's New in 2018.5 publication.

Cashiering has been updated only to pull in items that are partially paid, invoiced or unfinished.

The Parks & Rec Invoice page has been updated to display classes, rentals, memberships and add-on purchases.

An error occurred in the attempt to edit an add-on amount.

The wait list email unregister option confirmation did not render the city logo or background.

Selecting a date on the portal facility calendar without specifying a rental caused the pop-up not to display properly or close when the X was selected.

The Copy function on the Class Details page was copying the class number.

The Payment Method drop-down did not work when a Drop In Payment was attempted for any class.

The following error occurred in the Class Registration Create process: "An error has occurred and was logged."

Attempting to pay for multiple items in the back office without a tender type equal to credit card resulted in an error, preventing payment.

The multi-family percentage and dollar validations were not working properly.

The calendar control for the discount setup was not working.

After a registration occurred, add-on edit functionality was lost.

Receipts from Persolvent were displaying by invoice total instead of listing each item individually.

The registrant export was not including registrants from before a Parks & Rec software upgrade.

Custom fields with Select type values duplicated across registrants when exported from a class.

Buffer times sporadically were displaying incorrectly on the facility calendar.

The rental registration time was showing as one hour later on the invoice.

After a rental was selected in IE 11, the calendar did not appear.

A Password Reset error occurred.

When refund or void transactions were viewed on the Transaction Settlement Report, the Processed by name was incorrect.
